Freeze Watch/Warning Northwestern United States Valley's including Parts of Salinas, Sacramento and San Joaquin

Cold Air has settled over Eastern Idaho into Southwestern Montana and
is expected to slide Westward and South over the next 48 hours - a
rapid drop of temperatures from mid 20's during the night in
Southwestern Montana and at hour after sunrise fell to 10 degrees -
shows a Westerly shift at the timing of the cold temperature - as one
might say not running toward the Sun but away from the rising Sun is
called a Retrograde in the move of The Pacific Air - shown first with
a drop of a low to below 50 degrees North in The Gulf of Alaska caused
the Pacific High to shoot North into The Arctic - in do so the axis of
the Corleius bend to tail to the West - as we all know the High can
not go over The North Pole - Right - so now Russia is relief that we
are on the same page involving Europe. Now to the short term picture -
How is 70 degrees currently in The Central Valley shall drop into the
30's and 40's - well I'll tell along with the mouse in the House - the
Pacific Air is in process of cutting off - leaving The Great Basin
Drainage - since Areas of Montana are in the 6000 foot range and
Sierra Nevada also level with the Montana elevation and a Pirep of
Negative over San Francisco California leave a cold air fall and a
nice warm air curl out to The West in the Pacific to feed the Southern
Gulf of Alaska Low - so check your plants about 3 am to make sure they
are protected for the "No Help Warmth from the morning Sun" give way
to the Cold snap.
