EAST SIBERIAN SEA TO THEEASTERN BEAUFORT SEA THURSDAY THROUGH
SATURDAY. -ARCTIC OCEAN--BEAUFORT SEA--CHUKCHI SEA-THE MAIN ICE EDGE
LIES FROM NORTHWEST BANKS ISLAND 74.4N129.9W TO76.7N 137.1W TO 77.3N
145.1W TO 76.5N 150.6W TO 77.8N 162.8W TO 76.9N169W TO 76N 175E AND
CONTINUES WEST. THE ICE EDGE IS 2 TO 7 TENTHSOLD AND NEW ICE. AN AREA
OF ICE LIES ALONG THE RUSSIAN COAST WEST OF 175.5WAND SOUTHOF 73.3N.
ICE WEST OF 175E IS NOT ANALYZED. A SMALL AREA OF 1 TO 3 TENTHS OLD
ICE LIES NEAR 75N 165W. FORECAST THROUGH SATURDAY...WARMER THAN NORMAL
TEMPERATURES WILLCONTINUE ACROSS THE ALASKA NORTH SLOPE THROUGH THE
