DAMAGING WAVES HAVE NOTOCCURRED FOR AT LEAST TWO HOURS THEN LOCAL
AUTHORITIES CAN ASSUMETHE THREAT IS PASSED. DANGER TO BOATS AND
COASTAL STRUCTURES CANCONTINUE FOR SEVERAL HOURS DUE TO RAPID
CURRENTS. AS LOCALCONDITIONS CAN CAUSE A WIDE VARIATION IN TSUNAMI
