Subject: Tsunami Information Statement issued 06/21/2012 at 11:52PM AKDT
At 11:50 PM Alaskan Daylight Time on June 21, an earthquake with
preliminary magnitude 4.7 occurred 75 miles/121 Km southwest of Kodiak
City, Alaska .
The magnitude is such that a tsunami WILL NOT be generated. This will
be the only WCATWC message issued for this event.
The location and magnitude are based on preliminary information.
Further information will be issued by the United States Geological
Survey or the appropriate regional seismic network.
