Subject: Tsunami Information Statement issued 06/30/2012 at 11:39PM PDT
At 11:36 PM Pacific Daylight Time on June 30, an earthquake with
preliminary magnitude 4.9 occurred 40 miles/64 Km southeast of El
Centro, California .
The magnitude is such that a tsunami WILL NOT be generated. This will
be the only WCATWC message issued for this event.
The location and magnitude are based on preliminary information.
Further information will be issued by the United States Geological
Survey or the appropriate regional seismic network.
