Joha goes long in With Anticipation
Thursday, Joha stretches out his trip as part of a full field in the
Grade 2, $200,000 With Anticipation Stakes at Saratoga. This year,
Joha won a six-furlong turf race at Belmont back in May, and in July,
took home the $152,000 Colin Stakes, a race at the same length at
Woodbine.

Preview: Saturday's Woodward and more
In Saturday's $750,000 Woodward Stakes at Saratoga, Mucho Macho Man
will try to finally earn his first Grade 1 victory. The busy card also
features the Grade 1, $500,000 Forego for male sprinters and the Grade
2, $250,000 Bernard Baruch Handicap for males on the turf.

Red Sun on the comeback trail
Red Sun returns to action Thursday at Del Mar, in the featured eighth
race, and will be competing for the first time in 53 weeks. Now 6, the
gelding has won five times in eight starts during a career that began
way back in January 2009.
