RECORD HEAT DUE FOR THE SOUTHWEST UNITED STATES MAIN TARGET AREA CENTRAL VALLEY AND SIERRA NEVADA

Temperature Hot Friday into The Weekend from Mid 90's to near 100 up
at Lake Tahoe in Sierra Nevada and Yosemite National Park Valley Floor
in low 100's but into the Valley Floor of Central California 105 to
110 with some local 115 even somewhat higher in windless locations -
Temperatures are to be from 5 to 10 degrees beyond records of the
Large High Pressure drop dry air down into a cap air line of near
10,000 feet leaves no humidity recover to control cooler temperatures
- changes not seen until early next week.
